Being the largest Surveying Firm in Northern Colorado it only makes sense that we have our own Virtual Reference System or what we like to call the King Reference System (KRS). KRS is a group of six Trimble GPS Base Receivers located in various places throughout Northern Colorado that are connected to each other using the Internet. With these six receivers running 24 hours a day, seven days a week, King Surveyors is able to perform RTK surveying with out the hassle or cost of setting up a base receiver for every job. Our crews can arrive at the job site, turn on their Trimble Rover, log into the network and begin working right away. This efficiency saves the average crew at least an hour day in set up and tear down of the typical base station. The savings created by the using KRS is passed directly onto the customer in a reduction in costs.
