Employment Opportunities

King Surveyors Inc., the largest and most progressive independent surveying firm in Northern Colorado is expanding to best meet our client’s needs. We will be opening a new office in Summit County, Colorado in the Spring of 2008 and need the following personnel to fill positions at the new office as well as in our main office in Windsor, Colorado.


Project Manager (Windsor and Summit County)

This position requires an individual to be licensed in the state of Colorado or be able to obtain a Colorado license within 9 months, be proficient in AutoCAD 2006/LDD3, Trimble TGO Office and have at least 3 years of experience as a project manager. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a good relationship with clients as well as supervise and review the work of other employees.


Survey CAD Technician (Windsor)

An ideal candidate for this position should have 1-2 years of experience preparing Topos, ALTAs, LSPs, Subdivision Plats, calculations for construction staking using AutoCAD 2006 and some field experience. Candidate must be a team player, organized, detail oriented and motivated.


Party Chief (Windsor and Summit County)

Applicants for this position needs to have 2-3 years of experience in construction/boundary surveys and GPS experience is preferred. Candidate must be responsible, motivated and possess strong technical and communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license.


Instrument Person (Windsor and Summit County)

An applicant for this position should have at least 6 months of experience using a data collector and Total Station. GPS experience preferred. Candidate needs to have strong math skills and be willing to learn quickly. Must have a valid driver’s license.
